I completed the full cabling of my Konnected Pro Panel 12 ports interface kit on my ancient GE Security/Aritech CD95 Alarm system in Alarm System Interface mode, but faced a few issues.
I am using following versions:
- Konnected Panel version 1.9 (Manufactured 2025.11)
- Interface Modules version 2.1
- ESPHome version 2026.2.2
- Project version 1.2.2.xx
- Android Konnected App version 1.6.8 (Oct 31, 2025)
Issue 1: One of my inputs (Zone 3 named Windows BJ) remains ON all the time
It is cabled correctly and tuned properly, the orange LED turns OFF properly when physical sensor is activated:
And turns ON again when physical sensor is deactivated again:
However it remains constantly ON in Konnected Web page:
or on SmartThings:
All my other inputs work fine, only this Zone 3 is stuck to ON, and to make sure it wa not a problem with the physical sensor, I swapped with the Sensor on Zone 4 that was working fine: Still the same Zone 3 is stuck. And actually by looking very carefully, it seems the orange LED on this faulty Zone 3 is shining less bright than all others:
Not easy to see on this picture, but just check the ‘ray of orange light’: you can clearly see it is less bright than the other 5 rays.
It looks to me like a hardware provlem on either the Module interface, or the main Konnected Panel Pro?
Issue 2: Full reset of all inputs every 2 minutes
When system is disarmed, every 2 minutes (1min59 exactly), all inputs will switch to ON then OFF, also triggerring a weird error ‘Script ‘‘blink_status_led‘ max instances (running + queued) reached!’. Even Armed input (zone11 in my case) will be activated, temporary changing the state to Armed:
Any idea what could cause this?
Issue 3: Arming state missing and Panel is not sending impulsion to disarm while arming

When I change from ‘Deactivated’ to ‘Away‘, the panel will not really be in Armed mode until the arming delay of my traditional alarm is completed (in my case 30s) and Armed zone (zone11) becomes activated.

If I try to disarm during that time, the panel will not send a new impulsion.

If I wait until the delay is expired and my traditional alarm is fully armed (Armed zone - zone11 - become activated), then change from ‘Away’ to ‘Deactivated’, then a new impulsion will be sent.
I believe there is a bug in the logic of the Konnected panel here:

It should change to ‘Arming‘ or ‘Pending‘ state between the time the Arming impulsion is sent and the Armed State input (zone11) becomes activated, because during that time the traditonal alarm is not fully armed yet.

It should allow disarming even if Armed State input (zone11) is not activated yet, in case user changes his mind and want to deactivate before the traditional alarm is fully armed.
Issue 4: How to use the second Out and second relay for Armed Home:
My old alarm system is not able to distinguish Arm Away and Arm Home on its same zone input, or output from Konnected Panel:
So my question is: how could I use a second output (Out 2) wired to the relay of the second interface module to activate a different zone on my old panel for activating Arm Home?
Also, stupid question, but why is there a Type pulldown when only option I can choose is Momentary? Is there something I miss here?
I am asking these question here because my experience with Konnected Support is not great so far. Any help or suggestion is welcome
