Re-visiting a problem: partially closing an open door

Problem: If door is open, setting to 50% open doesn’t work – door just closes.
I have the following Hubitat Button Controller rule that fails to stop the door at 50% if the door starts at OPENED (the rule works if the door starts at CLOSED).

The rule is activated by pushing a button on a remote control unit.

I brought this problem up in July 2025 and got this response:

It is a known issue that the partial opening/closing only works (on most openers) in the opening direction. This is something we’re still investigating and may be fixed in a future firmware update.

So I’m just checking to see if the problem has been fixed.
