I have the 3 Blaqs. after the power failure when you hit the button (this is happening to the two we checked today), the door opens to about 3/4. Hit again and door closes then opens to 3/4.
Is there a way to reset? I tried holding the button - nada.
Do you get the same behavior when you use the LiftMaster/Chamberlain wall button or remote?
I don’t see how this could be related to the blaQ at all. It doesn’t control the duration or stopping limits – except when using the set percentage feature.
The travel distance is controlled by the motor itself. Look up the user/install guide for your opener to learn how to refine the stop limits.
update: strange that a power outage caused this, but fix was simple. I just had to readjust the door open stop from the opener. 20 years - never seen that. Doesn’t seem to be related to blaq at all.
