BlaQ opens but doesnt close

Hi all,

I had my BlaQ setup and working perfectly for over a month with no issues (except for the random opens).

A few days ago, it stopped closing. It still opens just fine, but won’t close. The audio siren sounds and the light flashes, but then it never closes.

Its connected via Smartthings, and smartthings says that it is ‘closing’ and then is ‘closed’, however the door is not.

When i tap the physical button on the wall, the door closes (no blockages, etc).

Any suggestions on why it would have stopped closing?

What version of firmware are you on? Sounds like your garage opener is an older Security+1.0 opener, which we have made a number of significant improvements in the last few firmware updates. A firmware update to the latest may fix your problem.

The settings page says I’m up to date…the installed version is 1.1.1.1

The latest version is actually 1.3.0.x. The app doesn’t yet automatically check for updates and notify you, but we will be adding that soon.

Go in to the Konnected app, tap on your GDO blaQ > Settings > Save & Continue > Build now > Update now to build and update with the latest firmware and your settings/preferences.
