I have set up a garage door opener. From the web page of the device I can open and close the door. But when I go to ST, it shows it as offline and pressing open does not do anything.
When I trigger opening the door from the web page of the device, it shows the status (opening /closing) correctly. Any suggestions?
It sounds like you may not have finished updating your device firmware with the Konnected Cloud enabled firmware using the Konnected app.
In the Konnected app, tap on your device, then tap Settings > Konnected Cloud > enable. Then Save and continue and follow the steps to build and update the firmware on the device. This step is necessary to pass secure credentials for your account on our cloud to the device.

Thanks for getting back to me. It is definitely with the cloud enabled. I can even see the status of the gate wile being opened or closed within ST, but it still shows as offline.
This really sounds like a region mismatch issue. Try re-updating your firmware after you verify that your Konnected Cloud region is set correctly.
