Konnected and SmartThings no longer communicating

Yesterday SmartThings stopped talking to Konnected devices. Konnected is working fine. Devices now show as offline. I cannot get them to talk again. The system has been operational for years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. All looks.good in konnected and the cloud link in smartthings shows good too, but everything is offline. GDO is online in smartthings, but toggle (report) open and closed erratically.

In SmartThings my devices that use Konnected show as offline. Other devices like lights and remote receptacles are working fine in SmartThings. I am at a loss. Worse is that important devices cannot be controlled. This is giving me the incentive to move to Home Assistant and get away from SmartThings, which was on my radar to do!

We are having the same issue. Konnected board shows online but all devices in SmartThings is showing offline. We have been using SmartThings with Konnected since 2020 and have never had it go down and not reconnect like this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I started in 2020 as well and had my issues but they typically resolved themeselves. I did notice that my Konnected boards have firmware updates. I am hesitant in updating them. I am keeping my fingers crossed that my troubleshooting thus far has not created more issues for me that will require a new start to SmartThings and all my routines that I have created. Open to suggestions as well.

Smoke Alarm and CO detector was just recognized! Other devices are still not working. I did not do anything to get them to be recognized. I say this is a cloud issue!

Same here Konnected not responding to SmartThings- does Konnected monitor this forum?

Just had everything but 2 sensors go back online. seems like it is a cloud issue.

and now everything is back online without me doing anything!

All mine are now online. So frustrating! At least it is now working. Hopefully someone knows what happened for future reference.

This was my fault!!

I deployed a cloud infrastructure upgrade last night. I missed one permission setting on the new infrastructure that affected cloud authentication for the 6-zone Alarm Panels. Fixed now, and everything should re-connect by itself. No action required on your end.

Hey Nate, did any of those changes impact GDO? I have 1 of my GDOs constantly cycling between open and closed and it appears to be related to timed refreshes. It will stuck in the open state, but if i go to lunked services in ST and refresh the konnected service, it updates to closed. A few minutes later, it goes open again, then few minutes later, closed.

Further clarity here, the GDO web page doesnt reflect what is seen in Smartthings. It maintains a closed state whereas Smartthings continues to cycle.

@suXor This issue is unrelated to the cloud authentication issue. Please open a new thread and let us know which model/generation GDO you have (should be a sticker on the bottom).

After the AWS down a few days ago, I’m experiencing communication errors between my PanelPro and Smartthings. Sometimes all inputs are offline, other times just the buzzer. I’ve tried restarting the devices and refreshing the connection between the ST platform and the Konnected service.

The problem is that they’re currently either randomly offline or not.

To resolve this issue, I also applied for the Matter program, hoping that a local solution (having an ST hub) would solve the problem.

If you have some suggestion please give to me!

Since two weeks ago, Smartthings shows all sensors from my 6-Zone alarm panel v 2.4 as offline. To see them again, I have to manually sync to device from the Konnected app once a day, every day. I tried reflashing and re re-registering but it did not help.
