"Your Alexa App needs an update"

I’m trying to link my cloud-enabled GDO Blaq to Alexa. When I try to add the Konnected skill to my phone’s Alexa app, I get a screen that says “Unable to link accounts. Your Alexa app needs an update.”

I’m running Alexa version 2.2.562913.0 on a Pixel 7 Pro, with Android version 14.

Any Ideas? Thanks!

I figured it out. See:

I had to go into settings-apps etc and explicitly add a link to pitangui… Added a bunch of others too, everything that was in the USA (.com)

Now it works fine
