I can’t seem to find this info online, but was wondering if any special wiring was required when you replace an old Security+ 1.0 wall control panel (on a Chamberlain opener with a purple learn button) with a newer 889LM wall control panel? Right now, my panels all go to the opener directly and share the red and white ports that also lead to my GDO Blaq. My intention was to keep the wiring the same, and then change the security on the GDO to Security+ 1.0 with smart panel, which was mentioned in another thread.
The wiring is the same!
