I have installed the Konnected driver through the package manager and noted it appears to install without any issues.
I then attempted to create a virtual driver as per the following webpage but there was no Konnected Garage Door GDOv2-Q Type in the drop-down list. It appears that the Hubitat interface has change a little since you created this documentation but it still should have shown up in the dropdown. Your guidance appreciated.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Select Device Type drop-down and it should be there under the subheading User.
If you still can’t find it, click on Drivers Code in the Hubitat menu sidebar and make sure that the Konnected Garage Door GDOv2-Q is listed there and installed properly.
Thanks, got it. Is there any way to get voice working for the ‘Open’ command using Hubitat via Alexa. Ive read the threads about the Canadian limitations but was thinking there may be some work around. W.
A follow up to the Canadian issue that prevents us from opening a garage door using Alexa.
I was able to implement a work around with a Hubitat virtual lock and some rules using the commands Open or Close Garage Door which still worked even though it was a virtual lock device. The Open command requires the 4 digit passkey which is spoken to Alexa when prompted.
