I have tried everything to get the smoke detectors to properly signal the Konnected board. I am using System Sensor 4WTB detectors and have removed the end of line resistor per the Konnected 4 wire smoke detector instructions. All the software in Konnected appears to be properly set.
When they are set as standard NO they show as clear and appear to be working in both Konnected and SmartThings. However, if you introduce smoke to the detector, the detector goes to alarm status (red LED) but the Konnected board does not trigger either the Konnected siren or the SmartThings alert or sirens. When I invert them to NC in the Konnected software, they trigger all the alerts and sirens as soon as the software reboots (no smoke present) and remain in a triggered state until I switch them back to NO in the software.
Do you have any thoughts as to why the smoke detectors are not triggering the Konnected board in NO or why they trigger them instantly in inverted NC? Do I need a relay or some other piece of hardware to make them work?
