SSL certificate issue

I have Konnected Alarm Panel Conversion Kit 6 ports Wifi.

Software 2.3.3

Firmware 2.3.0

Yesterday, I decided to get a WildCard LetsEncrypt SSL certificate and use it for my HomeAssistant(HA).
After doing that, the Konnected Alarm Panel can no longer talk to the HomeAssistant. It basically returns ‘Unknown’.
Reverting back to a non-WildCard SSL Certificate on HA fixes the issue.

I am not sure what the issue is. There are 2 differences.
The new SSL Cert key is Wildcard and of ECDSA key.
The old SSL cert is not a wildcard and RSA key.

Does anyone know what the issue is? HA is fine and has no issue with WildCard SSL and ECDSA key type?

I recommend updating your device(s) to our newer ESPHome based firmware platform for use with Home Assistant in this type of setup. ESPHome uses a dedicated native API protocol that has it’s own encryption capabilities, so it’s not affected by SSL/TLS on the web interface to HA.

To get started on this, re-flash your device(s) with the ESPHome firmware at https://install.konnected.io. You will then have to re-create all of your zones and entities (via the Konnected app) and can delete the old konnected integration from HA.
