Hello everyone,
Just a few initial hurdles in setting up my Konnected Pro board.
When selecting Alarm 1 , Out 1 or Alarm 2 in zone settings, I only have
On/Off switch or Momentary button as selections.
How do I select these as sirens ? or have I missed something ?

As of now just choose On/Off switch. There’s currently no support for a siren type in ESPHome (the underlying firmware framework) so in the meantime it can be controlled as a generic on/off switch. It’s functionally equivalent anyway.
I’m aware that work has been started on support for siren entities in ESPHome and when that’s available we will add the option.

That did the trick.
The challenge I’m having is that SmartThings doesn’t seem to recognize the siren if it’s set as an on/off device. When I go in to config ure the response in SmartThings, it says there are no sirens available. The siren works manually via the on off switch just fine, so I know it’s wired properly. Is this a known issue with the integration with smart things?
@Bryson_Koehler in SmartThings, you can select the siren as an response in SmartThings Home Monitor under the Turn on lights heading.
At this time the issue is the ESPHome firmware platform doesn’t have a unique siren type, so it appears as an on/off switch to SmartThings.
So, how does this work with Noonlight? Doesn’t Noonlight need the actual siren trigger to be alerted? The Turn on lights does work, but doesn’t seem to alert Noonlight.
