Not sure how else to get help. My UPS throws sparks

I have attempted to reach support a number of times but have been unable to reach anyone or get a response on this. I bought a Konnected UPS from their store on Amazon recently and when I attempted to connect it (note: to the same PSU that is currently powering my Konnected Pro, so I know the polarity is correct) It sparked pretty bad, then proceeded to blink red.

I could not find any documentation on what the red blinking means (presumably that there’s an issue). I tested with another PSU and get the same behavior. I don’t know what else to do at this point. Any tips on how to reach support would be appreciated.
