Does anyone know if Ryobi GD125 works with any of the two GDO units?

I have tried the white, but it didn’t work. I’m currently using MyQ (separate device).

Am I wrong to think that the black unit most likely could learn the code much like MyQ did?

I don’t know much about the Ryobi models, honestly. What I do know is that Ryobi exited the garage opener market due to lawsuit by Chamberlain. So they’re not making any more Ryobi garage openers.

The GDO blaQ is specifically designed for the Security+ wireline protocol, which is a technology used in Chamberlain and LiftMaster openers. I suspect that Ryobi is using something proprietary, and unfortunately this means it won’t work with the blaQ nor the White.

I’m thinking you’re out of luck … but I could be wrong. Anyone else have experience automating a Ryobi opener, please chime in.
