blaQ won't sync to my 8500C

So, after some aberrant behaviour on an old firmware, I updated to 2026.1.3. Two things:

  1. It seems to reboot on its own quite regularly. This may simply be because it doesn’t have a working opener connected to it (the reboot reason says “Reboot request from api” and the logs mention “No clients; rebooting”).
  2. It’s not synced. I’ve had it connected around 24 hours on automatic and hasn’t gotten anywhere.

I gave the wires a tug to make sure they’re well-connected and I don’t think that’s the problem. If the circuit is open, will the blaQ detect that and tell me that the wiring isn’t working?

It’s an 8500C so the Internet tells me this should be Security+ 2.0 even though it’s a square button and not round.
