I’ve just installed my konnected pro and all working well except for the shock sensors that i have on my windows and doors, i’ve removed the resistor, but unless i tilt the sensor sideways or hit it with a hammer the zone stays closed, these sensors are designed to detect an intruder breaking in by way of vibrations. Can you tell me what setting the zone should be on for these types of sensors, I have tried them on “window” and “door”. They are not powered. On the zone i have a mixture of magnetic contacts and the shocks. The magnetic contacts work perfectly. I’m based in Ireland and also have some HKC SW1070 shocks which work the same way as the GS610, these aren’t working with the konnected pro either. i’m hoping that someone has already faced this issue.
Thanks.
Did you figure this out? I’ve gotten the same sensor I think. I’ve tried it with window and it just sticks as open or closed. I’ve tried it with motion and likewise that just is either detected or not.
Hi, No, I even reached out to support and got a “it should work” and “i’ve never seen those sensors before” The sensors are around the last 20 years BTW, I ended up sending the board back and getting a refund. The konnected will work great with any open\close contacts and PIR’s but the shock sensors don’t go fully open by design and this is the limitation of the konnected at the moment, hopefully they improve or fix this.
You would need the GS614 or GS615 Shock Sensor Analyzer as an interface in between the shock sensor and the Konnected panel. Here’s a datasheet:
