Everything has been working fine, until I decide to add a buzzer and rebuild through the app. Since pressing build, my app has been stuck on “Preparing Firmware…” for 2 days. I have rebooted the panel, quit the application, logged out/back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reinstalled ESPHome firmware…no luck. Contacted the Konnected help email and they requested screenshots, so I sent right back and have not heard back since. Any help is appreciated.
Nate got back to me and remotely fixed my firmware build issue. Awesome support. Much appreciated.
I have exactly the same situation, more than 12 hours running “Preparing Firmware”. The worst thing is that my alarm cannot be armed.
Same here, have had a nightmare with this whole thing, kinda regretting starting it tbh. Have managed, finally, to get one motion detector to work semi reliably, added my others, firmware build is “stuck”. It’s really frustrating having set time aside for this and then be totally at the mercy of what seems to be a flaky backend service. If I had realised it needed a Web service to build config I woukd not have bought it.
I’ve elected to wipe it with install.Konnected.io and start again, hope that helps me.
This did not help. Settings page still shows Preparing Firmware, can’t do anything with it.
Now confirmed as a firmware build error Konnected-side by their support. Need to wait for a fix.
We did have an issue on Sunday, February 9 with our cloud build service, and a handful of firmware builds got stuck. The issue has been resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I had recent issue with wireless on my pro which worked great for 2 years. I just converted to ethernet to modem and works again but only when wired. I tried downloading board to windows 11 laptop to show helpdesk and was unable using their software to successfully download. It requires a data usb to usb-mini on board and no data except that the board retained my 12 zones to Smarthings and seeable in Konnected. I think Konnected has programming issues which I worked around. I had initial wirless setup problems in 2013 thus my decison to hardwire.
