Another vote for factory reset capability.
Or else, UN-MASK the password as you enter it, in the WIFI connection page.
(Come on! Who pray tell, are you hiding this from??)
A single missing character made the unit (BLAQ black) non-responsive.
(Stuck forever in a failed password attempt to log into access point.)
Only after taking it back off the wall and accessing it thru the console did I realize this.
At that point, there does not appear to be command-line functionality…
I ended up changing the password on the router, allowing it to log in, so I could again factory reset from the GUI, hurry back and reset router, and wait.
Only then did I re-acquire access.
My original problem (non functionality when attached to garage door), that I hoped to address with a factory reset, will have to wait for tomorrow. the lack of either of these simple additions (one hardware, one software) has burned through a full day.
Maybe make it an ‘easter egg’ - three power cycles without a successful connection initiates a factory reset.
Grr, now to bed and fight this again in the morning.
