I would like to indicate the status of each window/door sensor of the alarm panel pro to the proper room to see it in HomeAssistant and/or Home Kit. The configuration has every sensor of the alarm panel pro associated to only the room the APP is assigned to . It would be great If the kitchen window has been opened Home Assistant Kitchen panel window shows open. Much like Z-Wave devices. Any thoughts? thanks
Check the wiring to see if each window has a separate cable ran to the alarm panel. My house was installed like this. I have 2 Pro boards to manage all the windows and doors.
If it doesn’t, look into wireless modules for the windows.
@jasleinstein You can change the Area in Home Assistant for an individual sensor by clicking the Settings (gear icon) on that entity, then un-check the Use Device Area toggle. This will reveal a select box where you can select a different Area for that individual sensor.
