For anyone still debating the change to Konnected, I just installed the Alarm Panel Pro and found the process very straightforward.
We had a traditional wired system with 6 door sensors, 3 motion detectors, and 4 glass break sensors. Tried the Ring retrofit kit a few years ago, but lack of motion and glass break compatibility made it a compromised solution. Two glass break sensors are wired in series to make everything fit on the Pro board.
Everything is installed in an OnQ structured wiring case with mounting plate and clips. The magnetic standoffs slide down a bit in the OnQ case, likely because the metal is thinner than a traditional enclosure.
I’m integrating the alarm through Home Assistant Green and flashing the board for ESP Home was also straightforward. I’ve tested the sensors and everything works great. Still working on the control panel, but great experience so far!
