Alarm Panel Pro frequent reboot

Hi I have just setup my new alarm panel pro interfacing with my previous alarm. The Alarm Panel Pro is set to use wifi and reboot frequently according to HomeAssist. The wifi signal is good and has been upgraded to the latest ESPHome firmware. When it is connected everything seems fine.

Hi All. I’m having a similar problem, but with Hubitat. My logs are full of

“ESPHome sending message type #1 (4 retries left)”
”ESPHome requesting API version”

eventually, ESPHome runs out of retries and closes the socket, then starts all over.

Also, lots of “Heap Free” sending state notifications in the log for the panel.

I suspect it is because I’ve “rebuilt” the firmware for the alarm panel too many times as I iterated through the setup. While I don’t relish the idea of starting over, should I start over? And does that mean a factory reset?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Update your Hubitat drivers/libraries to the latest Konnected ZIP bundle from here:

Thanks for the quick reply! I appreciate it.

I’ve updated the drivers/libraries, and updated the platform for the hub. It still seems to be cycling. Here’s a snippet of the log I see from the hub-side (edited with Xs where necessary):

@Mark_Crescenzi I’m pretty sure that your issue is the same issue as described here, which should be fixed by updating the ESPHome library in hubitat:
