Hi Everyeone. I repalced my vista20 with connected conversion. All my smoke decectors need to be replaced. I read the Connecting Low-Voltage Smoke Detectors on the Konnected site, but I was woundering if anyone else had suggections for which 4 wire detectors I should buy. Any suggestions?
I don’t think it matters which detectors you buy since the interconnect interface is standard. I replaced all my detectors with Kidde, 3 are combined smoke/CO. I use a Kidde SM120X interface to the alarm panel. There is different interface device for the CO signal.
I haven’t installed one since a CO alarm when no one is home is less critical than smoke alarm anytime. Besides, I don’t know what could set off the CO side and not soon also trigger smoke.
