looking to replace a gen1 panel from 2019, the 3 boards are making hissing sound.
believe this is 3 wifi boards 6 zones each. My question is, to go POE, is that one Conversion kit + small 6 alarm add-on with the ribbon between them? Making sure that I’m getting the right models.
I fully replaced the existing one before, just looking to have someone validate the conversion + add on board is the right purchase.
Wasn’t PoE a pro model only feature? In any case, I’m running two of the Pro versions, 12 ports on each. If you need that one, it would just be two boards.
Note that the power out for the siren is limited via PoE. If you want to put a bigger unit on it, you’ll need a relay and will need to get power elsewhere. I actually sized my direct connected sirens based on the available power.
