Hey everyone,
We’re excited to announce a new accessory that many of you have been asking for! The Konnected DC to USB-C Power Delivery (USB-PD) Fast Charging Converter.
If you’ve been using our 12V to 5V USB Power Converter to power a tablet or Raspberry Pi from your alarm panel, this one’s for you.
Why we built this
Our original 5V USB converter has been one of our most popular accessories, and for good reason — it solves a real problem. But we kept hearing the same feedback: modern tablets, Fire tablets, and especially the Raspberry Pi 5 don’t power reliably (or at all) from a plain 5V USB port. iPads in particular will display “Not Charging” or charge at a trickle unless they get a proper USB-PD handshake at a higher voltage.
The new USB-PD converter fixes that. Instead of outputting a fixed 5V, it negotiates voltage with your device automatically — delivering 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, or 20V depending on what’s needed, up to 65W total. No configuration, no fiddling. Plug in your device and it just works at full speed.

Use cases
-
Wall-mounted tablet — wire it to your alarm panel’s 12V aux terminals and keep an iPad or Fire tablet charged 24/7 without a wall outlet
-
Vehicle hardwire — permanently install a USB-C fast charger in your car, truck, RV, or boat without an ugly plug-in adapter
-
Solar setups — connect to a charge controller’s aux output and run USB-C loads from your battery bank
