Motion detectors - “unknown” state in HA

I’m trying to setup a 6 zone wired smart alarm panel (hw ver 3.0.0 / sw ver 3.1.4) with a siren (which is working) & 5 PIR motion detectors.

The PIR’s are quite old ~15 years old. They are all receiving 12v and their NC & C are wired in, they are all blinking their detecting motion LEDs.

In HA I’ve got them down as binary sensors, but HA is reporting their state as unknown.

I’ve checked with a multimeter, the circuit is NC and becomes open whenever motion is detected.

Any ideas of what to check? Thanks.

Fixed. User error :grin: .

I put the Konnected Alarm Panel on my IOT vlan which by default doesn’t allow connectivity to HA, only HA can connect to the IOT vlan.

Adding a bypass Firewall rule has allow Konnected to ‘push’ events to HA.
