No preference here! Either option is fine with me, whatever is easiest for you to maintain.
@nate Did anything ever happen with info logging as we discussed above? I haven’t noticed any updates on HPM for the driver so I’m guessing no. I did however update the firmware on my device today and am now getting the following log entry every 5 minutes which I never did before:
[gdo_cover:026][gdo_main_task]: Door state: Closed, position: 0%
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
The latest firmware update (1.5.3) moves most of the log messages to INFO level, so they should not be automatically streamed in Hubitat.
Make sure to disable the Enable Debug Logging toggle in the Preferences tab for the device in Hubitat.
