I have integrated my new Konnected Alarm Panel Pro through my Echo Hub, but the alarm arming / disarming is glitchy. The alarm will not consistently arm, or may report an inaccurate armed status. Has anyone integrated with the Echo Hub for consistent arming / disarming?
This is my current configuration… I wired the Konnected Alarm Panel Pro into my old builder alarm system. Konnected Alarm is connected to a locally hosted instance of Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi. I set-up Nabu Casa to enable remote access to Home Assistant. I set-up Alarmo in Home Assistant. In Amazon Alexa, I integrated each of the original Konnected Alarm sensors, so that I can see open/close status on the Echo Hub. I also integrated the Alarmo panel into Amazon Alexa, which gives me the ability to arm / disarm with code entry.
My issue is inconsistency. When I arm via the Echo Hub, it will show it is arming and then after a delay, shows as dis-armed. Or, I have also seen where arm status is inconsistent between Home Assistant and the Echo Hub… I can’t help but think there are too many entities in my communication chain… Konnected Alarm Panel Pro –> Home Assistant Local –> Nabu Casa –> Echo Hub.
