I haven’t received it yet but have a Pro conversion kit ordered. While prepping for the install I found that the old system is providing 12V DC to the old circuit board from …somewhere… in the house, but there’s only a line/hot wire. No neutral. The line feeds a small backup battery and the old alarm board is connected on hot and neutral to the battery. Can the konnected board be adapted to work with this, maybe through a new backup battery? Or is a neutral required? Thanks!
Typically a traditional alarm panel uses an AC power adapter that’s connected to your household current. Konnected requires 12V DC, and the kit includes a power adapter that plugs in to a household plug.
