I’ve stumbled across your product recently and found it to address a very interesting niche. Traditional alarm companies (at least for home market) do have great sensors, but are lagging behind when it comes to tech integration in this new world. The game changed a lot and it’s clear that they are not ready to perform the switch. And there’s definitelly a huge network of old installations that are, essentially, abandoned (I have a few friends there)
I’ve been involved with IT tech product distribution for over 25 years now and this is a great path of expansion for this type of product (via distribution)
I ask this first from a consumer / potencial customer perspective first. Although I like to occasionally do some tinkering, I would really prefer to have someone to do the entire basic enablement part (hardware instalation / alarm replacement) so that I can play around with the logic part afterwards.
And this is the point that it’s unclear to me. Do you have an established network of resellers to promote selling this and, more imporatantly, install this type of product for the average user ?
I’m considering buying your product. seems amazing and clean, but the hassle of having the mandatory tinkering is something that may put a lot of people off.
Think “Apple I” computer (you buid it) vs the “Apple II” computer (you use it).
