Currently in the process of installing the interface kit. The instructional video I’m watching on youtube has me use Output Pin 17 & 18 on my Vista 20p alarm panel as inputs to the interface board to monitor the status of the system as well as if the alarm is triggered.
Unfortunately, I have a smoke detector reset circuit already wired to Pin 17. Are there any easy workarounds? ChatGPT suggested using terminal 3 on the Vista 20p panel to monitor if the alarm was triggered. Would that work?
