Back in June 2020 I bought the original Konnected 1st Gen. Had some issues getting my zones correctly tuned (weren’t labeled from the install), so I abandoned it
Fast forward to now. I’m pretty tech savvy, but worried about the feasibility of this project.
This house has, what looks to be a fairly large traditional system circa 2008/2009. I’ve asked ChatGPT to help me as well. I don’t know what sensors may/may not work and unfortunately there’s no zones mapped!
So, can you help me understand the feasibility / complexity of what I’m tasked with. Is tuning the zones going to be nearly impossible on a large system?
The prior owner retrofitted Vivint, which I don’t particularly want. They do have some 345 mHz devices and Z wave that could be brought over to a smart home system as well along w the Konnected.
My ultimate plan would be to tie in the old system plus some of the sensors into Hub Assistant or Hubitat.
