Future product suggestion: Develop a replacement external keypad option similar to the ones everybody has on their door with the number pad, but include options for programmable home automation triggers. Buttons that can after the device is unlocked can trigger scenes, etc.
Or for more functionality, myQ has a more modern video option that’s also like a video doorbell with notifications and two way audio. Just want to stay away from myQ. There are nearly 29K reviews on Amazon so people seem to buy them.
Great idea. I used my old panel wires to run the piezo up to a wall plate and have that set for a triple beep when my doors open. So if you do a panel consider a piece on the board. I also created a routine set in SmartThings that fires a triple beep configured for the piezo every 120sec when my water alarm is triggered so I get an alert that continues until I address the issue. Adding a few beep setups would be handy on your alarm panels. I.e 2 or 3 channels that could fire off a piezo configuration. Add a “repeat” option with delay between the beep sequence (your current offering). In this scenario if a momentary ON is given you get the basic setup of the beep one time and with a held ON you trigger the infinite loop on the beep setup until an OFF is given. Love your products !
My apologies. I thought you were talking about an alternate key pad for those us that replaced systems like DSC. My suggestion for more piezo capability still stands though and that would be part of your panels I assume. Perhaps just software updates.
