Can't configure piezo to repeat the beep

I am using SmartThings with the Alarm Panel Pro. I have the piezo connected to OUT1 and have been trying to figure out how to get it to beep, as I have seen advertised multiple times in Konnected articles. The Konnected app currently only allows it to treated as an “On/Off switch” and as a “Momentary Button”. When configured as a momentary button it just has a single “Duration” parameter with no apparent way to make it a repeating beep. I guess in theory you could implement the repeat in SmartThings, but it doesn’t seem to me like SmartThings is up to that challenge, latency is just too great.

Based on comments people have made, it sounds like Konnected used to have the repeat functionality in the Konnected app. When is that capability going to be restored?

I have mine integrated into home assistant on D4 as an led which is then configured to blink. This then acts as a buzzer. The yaml code is below

I have a repeat routine in SmartThings and it works well. For simply repeats just add 1sec pause between multiple momentary push actions. For a multi beep that repeats until you stop it a virtual switch along with routines can be done. I have one that triggers if a water sensor gets wet. It gives me a rapid 3 beeps a pause and repeats until I reset the water alert virtual switch. Happy to share more detail if interested
