I think I know the answer but just checking. I just bought a cabin in the mountains of NC about 500 miles from my primary home. This cabin has no existing alarm system. Can Konnected be used to build an alarm system in a home that has no existing system? Thanks.
Yes, but the Konnected Alarm panel is for wired sensors. In many cases, it’s difficult to retrofit wired sensors on all of the doors/windows if they’re not already pre-wired. If your home is pre-wired for an alarm system, then you’re golden, and the Konnected Alarm Panel is an easy drop-in.
If you don’t have any wired sensors already, it’s still doable, but may take some work to wire up the doors and make it look nice.
