Hi there, I’m new to this. I have recently purchased the Alarm Panel Pro.
My question is: how do I get the piezo buzzer to work? It is connected to the “Out 1” male pin on the LHS of the Alarm Panel Pro PCB with the white wire and the “GRD” next to it with the black wire.
Is it supposed to just make a sound when something happens?
Or do I need to do something in the Konnected App before I can get it to work?
I’m VERY new to HAOS and the Alarm Panel Pro, so there may be better ways to tackle this, but I also was surprised that my piezo chime didn’t work automagically when connected. I added HAOS automation to the various door open events in to push the Alarm Panel Pro Door Chime “button.” Seems to work fine, but the buzzer is in the HVAC room, so very tough to hear. I someday hope to have replacement panels for my DSC panels, and have the chime events happen at those two panels. Good luck.
