I’m excited to announce a powerful new feature update for the Konnected GDO blaQ and GDO White, unlocking Extra Inputs/Outputs that give you even more flexibility in how you use your garage door controllers!

With this update, you can now configure extra I/O on your Konnected GDO for advanced integrations and custom features, including:

  • Extra Wired Sensors
    Add and monitor additional sensors on both the GDO blaQ and GDO White for enhanced awareness and automation in the garage.

  • Door Toggle Relay Trigger (GDO blaQ only)
    Use an extra input as an relay input to toggle your garage door open and closed — perfect for integrating an old-school dry-contact output trigger with a modern Security+2.0 garage opener.

:mobile_phone: Konnected App Support

To take advantage of these new features, update your Konnected app to version 1.6.6 or later. The app has been updated with configuration options for these extra inputs/outputs.

Can you use the motion sensor you sell for this?

Yes, you can! That type of sensor is meant to be wall-mounted. I have one in my garage and it works well.

I’m trying to source a good and affordable ceiling mount one … maybe next year.
