Hello, I am installing am alarm panel pro with an interface kit to work with my ness d8 wired alarm. The armed and trigger outputs from the d8 are negative switched. When I connect them to input zones, it’s not getting detected when they change state. Keen to know how others have handled this? Do I need to use a relay to convert it to 12v which I guess the interface zones are expecting? Thanks.
Ok, so if others ever come across this issue, here is the answer: set it up as an inverted input and tune the potentiometer so the light is just off (the opposite of normal where you tune them to be just on).
Note - I did build the relay circuits to switch the gnd signal to a +12v on/off but that didnt work as an input.
