Combined wiring question

I'm cutting over from my DSC system to a Konnected Pro. The first zone on my DSC is wired like this:

I'm assuming it's because zone one is wired for "Front doors", which is actually a laundry door and front door. Is it possible to split these each into their own zones (it would make sense) and if so, do I need to add another capacitor?

You can remove the capacitor and separate them into two zones if you wish, or leave them as one zone.
