Does anyone have a suggestion for an LED that shows alarm arm/disarm status? I had a keypad in the bedroom that showed the alarm status prior to konnected. Now i have to check my phone. It’s there a way, through smartthings, for an led to switch color based on armed status? Extra points if it can be powered using the old keypad wiring.
I’m not using the old alarm panel, but I use sonoff snzb-01p smart buttons and Tapo light bulbs. I have simply done an automation that when the smart button is pressed, the lights in that zone go green for 2 seconds if the alarm is disarmed, and the lights go red if it is armed. Works fine and is wife and kids friendly.
